MARK JOHNSON’s professional journey spans the gamut of the fashion industry, brand identity, color therapy training & web design, shaping his fresh perspective on visual imprint and brand strategies. His initial experiences in advertising came about when he worked as a model for Gianni & Donatella Versace from 1997-1998.
He was first exposed to web design while serving as the Art Director for an innovative digital media project at BIG TIME PRODUCTIONS, in collaboration with MTV from 1999-2001. While working on this project, he was motivated to redesign the look, feel and navigation of MTV Latin America’s website channel.
His efforts resulted in a sleek new website UIX that enhanced the users’ experience. After the project’s successful launch, Mark immediately became a design consultant for websites of musicians and producers for Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Lady Gaga.
His undeniable knack for diagnosing pages that were cluttered, difficult to navigate, or littered with superfluous info, soon led to a number of satisfied clients. He developed a distinct reputation for knowing exactly how to revamp and organize web pages to accentuate products and services more effectively.
Mark’s success as a branding and web design expert stems from his deep understanding of the value of a distinct brand identity and the necessity of being “set apart” in saturated markets. His designs have been credited for elevating and breathing new life into stagnant businesses.
Mark sees websites as more than just pixels on the screen. He considers them to be organic digital life forms; the progeny of client and creator. Mark combined his web design and branding knowledge to launch Bionic Egg in August 2001.
20 years later, Bionic Egg is still evolving, in line with the web industry advancing at breakneck speeds. The company continues to maintain its position at the forefront of design and branding innovation. Armed with his dynamic vision and intuition for coming trends, Mark seems to know the future of the digital space before it unfolds.

In his role as Head of Development at Bionic Egg, Sayed Amir has continuously demonstrated a knack for delivering results with clean coding and responsive development delivered within client milestones and deadlines. While managing a unique team of coders, he prides himself on setting clear goals and responsibilities for his team and has over 14 years of solid experience in project management and web development.
Sayed’s impressive portfolio includes over 300 digital and web development projects for some of the world’s largest brands, including Procter & Gamble and Mars & Co. He has also worked on exciting projects for numerous small businesses and brand launches across major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Austin and London.
Professing a deep passion for hands-on coding and technology, Sayed is constantly learning and expanding his skills set. He lists Visual Studio Code, GIT, Chrome DevTools, and CodePen as some of his main tools. At the same time, his approach to leadership has seen him successfully manage large teams of 20 or more people.
Sayed possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Multimedia and Computing and is a member of the charitable organization, Passage to Hope. As a lifelong learner, he strives to deliver innovative digital experiences through a mix of creativity, technology, and business orientation. When he is not coding or working on projects, Sayed enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.
VINCENT PAOLO started working for a software company in his native Barcelona, he had his eyes on Silicon Valley for quite sometime. He had studied software independently online and wanted the opportunity to learn real-world applications in Canada, and hopefully transition that experience into a full time software/development job. He enrolled in an entrepreneurship program in San Francisco in early 2009, within a few weeks of completing his certificate, he landed a job as a web developer for one of Canada’s highest regarded web development companies. After starting a family 8 years ago, Vincent took on a full time position as lead developer at Bionic Egg.
I have been working as a PR specialist and copywriter for almost twenty years in the personal health, exercise, entertainment, tech and consumer fields. Before that I worked at WPIX TV (NYC) in media relations and from there went on as a publicist/ad copywriter for Esquire Magazine. I then entered the corporate arena doing public relations and copy work for such clients as Ecotrin, Nestle’s Crunch, Netjets (a Warren Buffett company) Pillsbury, Root Candles and Zuvo Water with The Spiralgroup and the five star Leela Hotels in India. I am currently part of the Bionic Egg web design team, working on copy for Bionic Egg clients: Massena Lab timepieces, Flavordent toothpaste, The PPL Events Company amongst others.
Previous clients have included the launch of the Zuvo Water Filtration System, The Downs Discs and The Spin & Go Cleaning System, and as the personal publicist for NBA trainer Ed Downs. Recent tech clients have included Airpush, Shopular, Nickel and TuneGo, where I fine-tuned web copy in addition to my PR work.
My contacts in the personal health and fitness areas are extensive, and I was instrumental in publicizing Nestles’ Walk Across America. And recently my success in launching the Downs Discs Core Fitness System developed by Ed Downs personal trainer to such superstar athletes as Alex Rodriguez, and Carlos Boozer and members of The Miami Heat. In addition to top website placements and booking national and local TV appearances, the buzz generated for this product, helped create interest from the QVC Network where it went on to sell out.
I am innovative, adept and collaborative. Headlines, ad copy, social media, press releases , client profiles, promo and ad copy are just some of what I bring to the table.
Marc Tousignant is a collaborative Fashion and Beauty Portrait photographer. Originally from Montreal Canada, Marc studied Visual Arts, he began his career as a professional model. A couple of years later he dedicated himself to his true passion, photography.
Now, with 16 years of experiences, he travels all over the world following his endeavor. Based in New York for over 10 years and recently back from Europe, his work has been featured in dozens of magazines all over the world and exclusively working with top designers. His clean esthetic approach makes him a remarkable artist. The perfect photographs play a crucial role in the success of a Bionic Egg client’s brand and/or product because so much of a website or pamphlet is grabbing the customer by their senses.

Deeply passionate and dedicated to his craft, Leon Emerson has been creating thought-provoking art and design work almost his entire life. The self-taught Illustrator started drawing at the age of four and has worked on well over 500 projects in his career as a visual artist. His portfolio covers everything from oil and acrylic paintings to digital designs on brand packaging.
He began his professional career in design in 2012, as part of a new division at Bionic Egg, and has created some of his favorite published work since joining the team. Having studied plastic and visual arts for three years at a prestigious art school in Venezuela, he continues to sharpen his drawing and illustration skills into everyday household products and consumer goods.
He sees his role as an illustrator as an opportunity to “bring life to ideas.” He also uses his skill and experience to represent, as best as possible, the value with which his clients are most identified.
Leon lives and works in Venezuela and has been a freelance Illustrator with the Bionic Egg team since 2015. His time with the company has allowed him to enjoy creative freedom and work on some of the most rewarding and exciting projects of his career, which include designing the artwork for new brand logos and design assets.
As a Full-Time illustrator, Leon also specializes in the creation of human characters for comic books, science fiction, cartoons, and hyperrealism, among other areas.
JACK KELLY has been working with Photoshop since its creation in 1991, and, since then, has worked on thousands of images, both retouching photography and creating illustrations from scratch. His projects have included everything from fashion photography to corporate brochures to web catalogs. JACK has worked on campaigns for L’Oreal, Calvin Klein, Hasbro and Blue Cross. JACK’s top-of-the-line set-up including color calibrated monitors allow for precise soft proofing while working on projects and access to high quality, overnight digital proofing takes the guesswork out of any color adjustments.
